Mailman Sent to Hospital After Bee Attack in North Las Vegas

North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) — Several people have been stung by bees in a neighborhood near West Gowan Road and Allen Lane, according to the North Las Vegas Fire Department.

NLVFD spokesperson Capt. Cedric Williams told Action News that no one has been transported yet but medical personnel are on the scene of the bee attack.

The attack happened around 11 a.m. this morning.

According to initial reports, a swarm of bees chased a mailman down the street and stung him several times. Three other people were also stung during the incident.

The mailman was transported to University Medical Center. He is reported to be in stable condition.

The bees were living inside of a couch outside of a home in the neighborhood. Firefighters were able to get rid of the hive using foam.
